 Celebrating Canada's History with fun and gamesOh Canada!
Friday, July 1
noon to 4 p.m.

Did you know that Fort Dunvegan was established 62 years before Canada became a country and that the Indigenous, Fur Trade and Missionary activity that occurred here all contributed to the formation of our great nation? Celebrate a significant piece of Canada's heritage by exploring Dunvegan's four fully restored historic buildings, playing games, learning a craft, enjoying family entertainment and a piece of cake. Regular admission fees apply.

Locally made treatsAnnual Fresh Air Market
Sunday, July 31
11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Experience the time-honoured tradition of trading and gathering at Historic Dunvegan's Fresh Air Market. Get to know local artisans and the products they passionately create. Find the perfect gift or take home a special treat for yourself. Costumed interpreters will be offering tours of Historic Dunvegan's four fully restored historic buildings. Regular admission fees apply.

Amphitheatre Entertainment
Friday, May 21, July 2, July 16, and August 13
2 p.m.
Enjoy a humorous and interactive outdoor theatrical presentation put on by Historic Dunvegan staff and volunteers. Participation by donation.

Sunday Fundays
Sunday, May 22 and June 19
2 p.m.
Historic Dunvegan staff host games and activities for the entire family. Participation by donation.

Tea Leaves and Bannock Sticks
Most Sundays in July and August
2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Learn to bake bannock (traditional Scottish/Indigenous bread) and enjoy a cup of tea while visiting with friends, family and Historic Dunvegan staff. Participation by donation.

Saturday, July 9, July 23, August 6, August 13 and August 20
2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Crafts, games and more – a new theme every time! Open to children of all ages, and adults are welcome too! $10/child; adults free of charge. Pre-registration required. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
