Drop by the Father Lacombe Chapel on July 1 as St. Albert celebrates the 150th birthday of Canada! Enjoy the view from the top of Mission Hill and discover more about the history of the oldest building in Alberta. Throughout the day there will be craft activities for all ages, a scavenger hunt and tours of the chapel, crypt and grotto.

Discover history on Mission Hill in St. Albert in a unique and “filling” way! Join us on July 23 for our annual “Taste of the Past” event as we sample historic culinary delights and share the stories of the Father Lacombe Chapel and the community of St. Albert.

noon to 4 p.m.

On August 13 we welcome you to the Father Lacombe Chapel where costumed historical interpreters will show you around the historic sites, which include the chapel, crypt, grotto, and cemetery. Enjoy an historic photo display, historic demonstrations and a tall glass of lemonade while you take in the view from atop Mission Hill. There will be crafts and games for the young at heart.
