Join us on Mission Hill as we celebrate “Oh Canada!” along with the City of St. Albert. Take a tour – in English or French – of the 1861 chapel (Alberta’s oldest building), the Crypt, the Grotto and the cemetery. Make a fun craft, play games and enjoy some delicious home-made ice cream.

You’re invited to step back in time for a taste of history! Sit in the shade and enjoy the view while sampling different historic foods, or take a walk with one of the interpreters to discover more about St. Albert’s history.food bank.

noon to 4 p.m.

Costumed historical interpreters will be pleased to show you around our site which includes the chapel, crypt, grotto, and cemetery. Enjoy our historic photo display, historic demonstrations and a tall glass of lemonade while you take in the view from atop Mission Hill. There will be crafts and games for the young at heart.
