Volunteer Announcement: Gardeners wanted!

Do you love gardening but don't have the space or just can't get enough digging and planting?

You can get your gardening fix by helping prep, plant and maintain the historic gardens at Rutherford House Provincial Historic Site! Volunteers will garden with the guidance of our interpretive staff, and learn about historic gardening activities and plants under the shade of this historic Edwardian family home. Gardening experience is an asset, but site staff are able to teach the basics. Five volunteers are required; the time commitment is two days (or 8 hours) a week required for the months of May to October, except holidays.
