Historic Preservation and Interpretation

The Turner Valley Gas Plant Conservation Plan outlines the necessary steps to preserve the historic fabric of the plant. This plan is proceeding in five phases, beginning with the current rehabilitation of the site office, to the conservation and reuse of various plant building for required historic site functions, and ultimately the conservation treatment of the buildings, vessels, tanks and pipes that comprise the majority of features of the historic site.
